Local homebuilder David Wilson Homes South Midlands has employed three new senior members of staff as its business continues to expand.

Gary Ford, Richard Flamson and Trevor Rockley – each of whom have decades of experience within the homebuilding sector – all began their new roles within a few weeks of each other and are working hard together and with their teams to bring quality new homes to the area.

Gary Ford, Commercial Director for David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “I've worked in the construction industry since the mid 80s, when I started as an apprentice. I've taken a step up with this new role, and I feel I'm making good progress so far, bringing key organisational and management experience to bear.”

Trevor Rockley, Technical Director for David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “I've spent my whole career at David Wilson Homes, and its parent company Barratt Developments, since starting as an Assistant Site Manager in 1994.

“From there, I've worked in engineering and health and safety, so I've become sort of a Jack of all trades, which is vital for this role as it means an understanding of various technical challenges. I love managing people, and I'm leading a great team here.”

Richard Flamson, Construction Director for David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “I've been in construction my whole working life, since starting as an apprentice electrician at the age of 16 and moving onto site management, learning as I went.

“My new role calls for a broad range of experience in site activities, policy and customer care, and I've certainly gathered a wealth of knowledge in those areas and more in my 10 years working for Barratt Developments.”

Chris Hatfield, Managing Director of David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said, “We employ the best in the homebuilding business, from our new apprentices to those at a senior level, and I know our new Directors, who all started either as apprentices or trainees themselves, will inspire and lead their teams to even greater success.”

David Wilson Homes South Midlands is currently building homes on a number of sites across Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire including a stunning range of four and five bedroom homes at Fallowfields, in Crick, and three and four bedroom homes at Bedford Meadows in picturesque Kempston.
