Four new homes are to be built in the East Riding of Yorkshire village of Etton, four miles North West of the market town of Beverley, where East Yorkshire house builder Beal Homes is already underway with the £2.6 million development located in the centre of the village.

'The Croft' occupies an elevated site off Main Street, Etton, with established trees and views over the pretty village and, to the rear, over open countryside.

The traditional architectural design of these four detached properties, each unique, is in keeping with the local vernacular, says Beal Homes. Set within Etton's conservation area, the homes will compliment their surroundings with Old England brick, Flanders red pantile roofs, eaves detailing, chimneys and timber sash windows and doors reflecting the character of existing village houses, confirms Beal.

“The four generous plots will provide good sized gardens, says Sue Waudby of Beal Homes. “Internally, these Beal 'Signature' homes will be built to individual homebuyer's briefs with each of the four purchasers having freedom to work with our design team to create their own bespoke interior. Ranging in size from 2,440 square feet up to in excess of 2,800 square feet, each will have four bedrooms.”

'The Croft' is on the site of a former builder's yard and workshop, which closed some years ago, and ground works are already complete.

“Etton is a very desirable place to live,” says Sue Waudby. “The village, which is on the southern border of the Wolds, is beautiful with period cottages, ancient church, the popular Light Dragoon pub and restaurant and the Michelin starred Pipe & Glass in South Dalton only a drive away too.
