Estia Health has acquired the strata Nobel Life Aged Care facility located within the senior living residential tower, Victoria Towers, at Southport on the Gold Coast. The deal, which was brokered by Philip Smith and Chris O'Driscoll of Colliers International, followed a hotly contested off-market EOI campaign with multiple groups keen to secure the facility.
Nobel Life Aged Care is a partially completed facility, which, when fully operational, will comprise 84 beds over three levels. Victoria Towers, Australia's first strata-titled over 50's apartment project, is a prime example of the emerging vertical co-located integration between Retirement Living and Residential Aged Care.
Colliers International's Healthcare and Retirement Living team has sold over $100m in Residential Aged Care facilities in Queensland in the past 18 months, in addition to selling around 3,000 residential aged care beds nationally over the past two years.
