Castle Retirement Living has announced its first flagship development – Castle View Windsor. Once completed, it will provide 130 homes for the over 55s, together with an additional 72 bed care home in the heart of Windsor's residential area.

Castle View Windsor will offer some of the best castle views in town from its own rooftop lounge, bar and garden. Situated next door to Windsor Lawn Tennis Club, the development will be one of the largest and most innovative urban retirement villages in the UK and also offer secure underground parking, a coffee shop and restaurant.

With construction already underway, the new £50 million development will be set in three acres in beautifully landscaped grounds and will comprise a total of 58 one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 605 sq ft to 1,115 sq ft.

With fifty per cent of the first phase already reserved off-plan, prices start from £330,000 to £650,000. Each contemporary living apartment will have its own private entrance and most will also have a large balcony. All floors will be accessible from the basement car park, offering futureproof independent living alongside the care home.

Further facilities in the development will include a ground floor reception and concierge, with on-site reception and security available round the clock.  Residents will be able to choose from a range of assisted living services as required, while pets will also be welcome in ground floor apartments.

Castle View Windsor will be ready for occupation by its residents in Autumn 2018, while a separate dedicated care home operated by Care UK will provide 24-hour nursing and dementia care complete with generous rooms and facilities.
