Sport England reports that 15.8 million people aged 16 and over are now playing a sport once a week in the UK – up by 1.75 million in the last 10 years1. One popular past time getting an overhaul in Slough's regeneration programme is Slough Ice Arena, costing £7.7 million, which will appeal to the 35,300 people who have taken up the sport this year, according to Statistica.
