PegasusLife has achieved practical completion after 14 months at its site in Canford Cliffs, Poole. The four-storey development has a contract value of £7.5 million and is PegasusLife's first age-exclusive launch in Dorset.

PegasusLife has worked in partnership with SNUG Architects, Midas Group as construction partner, Hydrock as engineering consultants and AECOM as project managers.

Mike Gill, Group Development Director: “This is our first site to complete in 2017, with many more due to finish in the next few months. It is exemplar, both in the timelines of the project and the way in which we have worked with key partners to deliver an architecturally stunning development, that brings the PegasusLife philosophy to Dorset.”

The project's timely delivery has been aided by the use of concrete frames with brick slips and timber cladding, enabling the build to progress faster, with less disruption for local residents, and fewer tradespeople on site.

The inhouse design team at PegasusLife has worked closely with SNUG Architects to create a landmark building in this desirable, coastal location. The bold design integrates seamlessly with the surrounding tree-lined streets whilst the green spaces outside echo the local pine woodlands.

In addition to the apartments, the contemporary complex includes an open plan shared lounge, a social kitchen with honesty bar, and a guest suite for overnight guests. A show apartment is open for appointments following a successful launch event on 26th - 28th January.
