The past two years represent one of the most dynamic periods for the construction of 10 new developments in Mallorca's Southwest region.  According to Hans Lenz, Managing Director, Engel & Völkers Southwest, the leading international real estate brand in the area; “There's been unprecedented demand for new off plan projects in Mallorca's southwest representing in excess of 100 million euros worth of sales volume through Engel & Völkers.  In response, we have launched a new Projects Division to offer our years of expertise to both developers and buyers ensuring that finished designs meet all investor criteria and sell under optimum conditions.

NEW CONSTRUCTION VALUES 

The average square metre price in the south west region for plots with sea views is between 800 -2,000€ per/m2.  As the availability of large plots for development is extremely limited there is a premium value of anything up to 20% on new constructed properties and future value is guaranteed.

Consequently demand is high as these new projects all offer quality construction, architecture, interior design and are specifically designed to target the second home investor.

ENGEL & VÖLKERS SOUTHWEST LAUNCH NEW PROJECTS DIVISION

Launched with the objective of offering a new service to both developers and investors. Currently five major off plan projects are either underway or preparing to start construction:
