Meyer Homes' Gabriel Square scheme in St Albans has won gold in the 'Best Interior Design' and silver in the 'Best House' categories at the national WhatHouse? Awards 2017.
The awards were presented to Meyer Homes in front of an audience of 1,700 housebuilding professionals at a ceremony in London on 17 November 2017.
The awards are widely recognised as the Oscars of housebuilding and one of the most coveted to win in the industry, with a particular focus on showcasing design excellence in today's new homes.
Gabriel Square, features a collection of 52 three and four-bedroom houses and 28 one, two and three bedroom apartments and duplexes set around a stunning landscaped garden square. With less than 5-minute walk from St. Albans station the homes benefit from secure underground parking, kitchens by Poggenpohl, Control4 Smart Homes Technology and journey time to central London from 19 minutes.
James Moody, Meyer Homes MD, said:
“We're delighted to have been recognised at the Whathouse? awards in both the Best Interior Design and Best House categories for our Gabriel Square development. The development sets a new benchmark in design for the area and these awards are testament to that. We're committed to providing stylish, high quality homes.”
Steve Walker of Collinson Hall added “This is a wonderful endorsement for the development and echo's the tremendous feedback we have had from people who have visited the showhouse.”
This success at the WhatHouse? Awards follows Gabriel Square winning the Home of The Year category at the Sunday Times British Home Awards.
