Leading artificial grass supplier, LazyLawn®, has installed its award winning turf for The Vine Residential Services care home for autistic young people.
The care home is currently undergoing an expansion over three properties, one of which is the former childhood home of 1966 World Cup winning captain, Bobby Moore.
60 square metres of Wonder Yarn 36mm were used in the installation at the Captain's former home, which has recently been commemorated with an English Heritage blue plaque.
Dawn Quye-Joyce from the Vine Residential Services commented: “We have merged three residential gardens together to create a large open space for the residents. As many of the young people in our care are autistic, we decided to opt for artificial grass due to the sensory nature of the product in terms of the brightness and softness of the grass. We also wanted something hardwearing that would be a safe, soft area for the young people to relax on.
“Not only were the installers at LazyLawn® quick and efficient, but they were incredibly accommodating to our needs and very knowledgeable of their product. The grass looks great and the young people love it!”
