Work has now officially commenced on Barratt Homes Manchester's development Nomvula Park, with the homebuilders bringing quality new homes to the village of Knowsley.
The new development, which is named after the 11th baby rhino to be born at Chester Zoo, is located on Waterpark Drive and will provide a desirable collection of 76 homes to the community.
Nomvula Park is set to offer a broad selection of contemporary styled properties that are suitable for first-time buyers, working professionals and growing families alike.
Barratt Homes will also contribute more £64,000 towards public open space improvements via a planning agreement with the local authority.
Michaela Lancaster, Sales Director at Barratt Homes North West, said: “We're delighted to be working on Nomvula Park. The development is really going to take shape over the coming months and we're looking forward to adding beautiful new homes to this part of Merseyside.”
The development will offer Help to Buy on a range of properties. The government backed Help to Buy scheme, which launched in 2013, allows buyers to purchase a home with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is funded by an equity loan, interest-free for the first five years and repayable on the sale on the home.
Nomvula Park will bring a wide range of three and four bedroom homes to the area and the show homes are expected to open in autumn 2018.
The onsite sales an information centre is open Monday 12.30pm to 5.30pm and Thursday to Sunday 10am to 5.30pm.
