Southern Home Ownership is bringing an educational Road Show to their Brighton development – Artisan – on Saturday 19th January, giving local first time buyers the opportunity to explore the affordable home ownership scheme available on their doorstep. The free event will provide key information about Shared Ownership, dispelling myths about the scheme and helping local residents understand the process clearly.

Southern Housing Group's Head of Marketing, Alison Saunders, comments, “Given the significant shortage of affordable home ownership options in Brighton, we've found that many buyers are finding it difficult to navigate the sometimes-complex world of Shared Ownership. While there may be reams of information about the scheme online, every buyer is different, so we find nothing quite compares to speaking to experts – who can talk buyers through their options on a one-to-one basis. This event will give first time buyers the chance to really explore their options.”

As well as learning more about Shared Ownership, guests will be invited to speak to sales staff and independent financial advisors, covering everything from understanding eligibility criteria to finding a mortgage provider. There will be a live Q&A with a member of the team, giving buyers a chance to ask any questions they may have about the scheme or the new homes. Guests will also be welcome to tour the new development and explore Southern's stylish new show home.

Partnering with two of Seven Dials' most well-loved independent cafes, The Flour Pot bakery and Small Batch Coffee will be providing a selection of freshly baked artisan pastries and baked goods, as well as specially roasted coffee. All guests will be given a cyclamen plant to take away from The Brighton Flower Company, a local independent florist based in Brighton & Hove.

The event will be held at Artisan, one of three Shared Ownership schemes Southern Homes Ownership brings to Brighton in 2019, a collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments from Southern Home Ownership, nestled in the creative hub of Seven Dials – a short stroll from centre of Hove and the waterfront.
