The UK hit television series; “Love Island” has created more awareness of the island's romantic attraction that started back in the 1950's. Then, international celebrities, including Hollywood swashbuckling actor Errol Flynn, spent his honeymoon with Patricia Wymore, aboard Flynn's yacht “Zaca” moored off the southwest coast. Escaping her disastrous love affair with singer, Frank Sinatra, the arrival of the actress, Ava Gardener on Mallorca caused a sensation where she took refuge in the tranquillity of Deia as the guest of the late poet, Robert Graves.
