Staffordshire Homebuyer Uses Barratt Homes Movemaker Scheme for a Smooth Move

Barratt Homes

A Staffordshire homebuyer has upsized to a three bedroom home at Barratt Homes' Alexander Gate development in Stoke-on-Trent using Movemaker, for security and a fast, smooth move to his new home.

Levi Crutchley (26) originally from Walsall, recently moved into his brand new Maidstone style home at the Waterloo Road development after fantastic service from Barratt Homes.

Levi said: “I prefer a new build home as you have minimal effort to maintain the property.

“I have had great service from Barratt Homes from the start of the process, everyone made me feel relaxed and at ease making decisions. I would definitely recommend the homebuilder to friends and family, I was kept informed through every stage of the process and nothing seemed like too much trouble.”

Using the Movemaker scheme meant that Levi didn't have to worry about selling his previous property.

Levi continued: “Movemaker allowed me to sell my previous property much quicker and save £1,800 worth of estate agents' fees as these were covered by Barratt Homes. The scheme made things much simpler for me.”

When you reserve your Barratt home and use the Movemaker scheme, you'll receive a complimentary estate agency service with a free no obligation valuation on your existing home.

Once a selling price has been agreed by the customer, Barratt Homes will then complete the Movemaker and instruct an estate agent to start selling your old home, free of charge.

As soon as the property sells, you're free to move in to your new stunning Barratt home and if the property doesn't sell within an agreed period, you may be able to take advantage of the housebuilder's Part Exchange service instead.

This will allow you to trade in your old home for a brand new one, without the pressure of having to find a buyer.

Levi's new home has provided him with a comfortable space to work from home, as he has room to dedicate a specific area to his work.

He said: “At the moment I'm home all the time as I have to work from home, so it's nice to be settled in a house with more room and a garden.

“I initially looked at the two bedroom homes, but upon visiting the development I found that the three bedroom properties still fell into my budget which is great. The Maidstone provides me with a lot more space and future proofing.”

Stoke is rich in heritage and culture yet modern in its outlook. Hanley itself is only a mile from the popular Potteries Shopping centre and a great range of bars, restaurants and leisure activities.

The town's bus station links Hanley with Crewe, Stafford and Newcastle and the train station at Hanley and the nearby M6 provide commuter access to Manchester and Birmingham.

The development has a number of two and three bedroom homes available, and buyers have the opportunity to take advantage of Part Exchange and Barratt Homes 5% deposit contribution for NHS staff and members of the Armed Forces.

Buyers should visit the Barratt Homes website to book an appointment to visit Alexander Gate, or contact the sales enquiry line on 0333 355 8478. For more information visit www.barratthomes.co.uk/alexandergate
