Ben Ainscough will head up King West's rural division, working out of their Market Harborough office and covering the East Midlands region.

King West specialises in estate, farm and land management, offering expert advice to clients. The rural team works closely with clients to manage rural property, provide advice on all aspects of land ownership and support with administration. The team covers the whole of the East Midlands.

Hailing from a farming family himself, Ben Ainscough will join the rural team in March 2021 as a Director. Specialising in the purchase, sale and management of farms and estates, Ben brings a strong background in land management to King West as well as in-depth knowledge of the local region and the potential it holds for landowners.

King West has been working with regional landowners for over 20 years to provide a breadth of rural services. Alongside consultant Rupert West and the larger team, Ben's role is to advise clients on property matters, provide strategic development support and undertake planning and valuation work. He will work with landowners to ensure they achieve the very best from their land to increase profitability and longevity through the following services:  

• Managing agricultural and business property and land.
  
  
• Providing advice on both the acquisition and sale of farms and estates.
  
  
• Overseeing rent negotiations and rent collection.
  
  
• Managing accountancy administration, such as payroll and bookkeeping.
  
  
• Support with maintaining and managing listed buildings.
  
  
• Arranging specialist building surveys.
  
  
• Cyclical maintenance, refurbishment and repair schedules for rural built structures, including the preparation of Schedules of Condition and Dilapidation Surveys.
  
  
• Digital land mapping to gain a deeper understanding of land areas.
