Cambridgeshire developer Barratt Homes is assisting Malborne Rangers FC's Under-13s this season with a sponsorship that will provide the team with a brand-new kit and funds for pitch hire and training equipment.

The members of the team, which is based nearby the developer's Hampton Water development in Peterborough, have been together since the age of five and play their matches on a Sunday.

Bex Valentine, Manager of Malborne Rangers FC U13s, said: “The sponsorship from Barratt Homes is fantastic. The whole team love the way the new shirts look and feel.

“We're really thankful for Barratt Homes' sponsorship as it enables us to continue to provide somewhere children can come and learn life skills. Without sponsorships we wouldn't be able to do this.”

The team is made up of players aged from 12 to 13 and play their matches in the local Peterborough and District Junior Alliance League.
