Paramount+ new TV series, Lioness filming around the island
Kidman hosted in the spectacular Villa Solitaire
The Balearic Island of Mallorca is hosting a cast of top Hollywood stars during the filming of Paramount's latest television series, Lioness. Morgan Freeman joins Nicole Kidman in Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ series, a CIA drama. The series stars Zoe Saldaña (Avatar, The Way of Water), who is also an executive producer along with Kidman, and Laysla De Oliveira.
The show is based on a real-life CIA program and follows Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira), recruited to join the CIA's Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within.” Morgan Freeman plays Edwin Mullins, the U.S. Secretary of State; Saldaña plays Joe, the station chief of the Lioness program and Kidman plays Kaitlyn Meade, the CIA's senior supervisor.
Filming in Mallorca started in January and will continue throughout this month in various locations providing plenty of opportunity for the stars to explore what Mallorca has to offer. During her visit, Kidman stayed in the exclusive Son Vida residential area known as the “Beverly Hills” of Mallorca in a spectacular designer Villa Solitaire as the guest of the developer, Jens Liebhauser. The villa's award-winning Italian architect, Matteo Thun, conceived the design concept for this striking glass-fronted villa, which is located on top of a hill, on a south-facing plot of 4,250 square metres with a constructed area of 2.300 sqm. The villa features seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, two swimming pools, an open-air cinema and jacuzzi, a private botanical “Zen Garden” a gym/fitness room, a sauna, and a Turkish bath, and a glass platform elevator connects each floor. There are over 2,000 square metres of outdoor terraces all with spectacular vistas across Son Vida and the city of Palma. Villa Solitaire is on the market with Engel & Völkers for 65 million euros.
