Registrations Up 55% as Visitors Turn to Dublin Moving to Portugal Show for Expertise on Tax, Property and Fiscal Planning

The Moving to Portugal Show and Seminars, Ireland's leading event for those considering relocating to the Portuguese sunshine, has seen a 55% increase in visitor registrations compared to the 2024 event. The surge in interest covers a broad spectrum of would-be movers, from younger workers and families to entrepreneurs and retirees. All will be able to access extensive expertise on moving to Portugal at the upcoming event, which takes place on 22nd May 2025 in Dublin's Herbert Park Hotel (Ballsbridge Terrace, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4) from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm.

Cross border tax specialists Forvis Mazars will be among those presenting at the show, which is designed to serve as a one-stop-shop for a vast assortment of expertise relating to moving from Ireland to Portugal. Other presenters will include banking experts Swissquote and Edge International Lawyers, with the latter covering the legal aspects of buying property in Portugal.

On the property front, a range of developers and real estate experts will be available at the show, both as presenters and exhibitors, providing the opportunity for visitors to talk with them one-on-one. They will include Bondstone, Fine & Country Algarve, Libertas, Pestana Residences Algarve, Quinta do Lago resort, Vilamoura and VIC Properties presenting a range of property options to suit all needs. Holistic tax planning and family relocation service Sovereign Group will also be present.

The event will feature panel sessions with those who have already made the move from Ireland to Portugal, whose experience spans everything from working in Portugal to moving with a young family. They will be available to share their expertise on a diverse range of topics, including the practical side of settling into a new life overseas.
