Leading Housing Association Opens Doors to Home Ownership for First-Time Buyers With Deposits from Just £1,550

Bromford

A three-bedroom home in Pershore is available to first-time buyers with a deposit from just £1,550.

Bromford's Holloway development offers homes through Shared Ownership, through which buyers typically purchase a share between 10 per cent and 75 per cent, paying rent on the remainder of the home.*

Selected Bow Brook home styles can be secured at a 10 per cent share, with buyers paying a deposit on that owned share rather than the full market value.

Through Bromford Shared Ownership, buyers can increase that share over time until owning their home outright, and shared owners have the same rights and responsibilities as a traditional home owner.

The Bow Brook's welcoming hallway leads into a cosy living room which comfortably fits two sofas, a coffee table and television stand with plenty of spare space.

Its kitchen-diner is home to an integrated oven, hob and extractor hood, with extra storage space and French doors to the turfed rear garden. A convenient downstairs cloakroom completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, the Bow Brook houses a main bedroom with a fitted wardrobe, spanning the length of the home with the adjacent middle-sized room which fits two single beds. A smaller bedroom, which could be repurposed for storage, dressing or a baby space, is adjacent to the landing, opposite a stylish family bathroom. Buyers will also benefit from off-street parking.

Karen Adams, Sales Manager at Bromford, said: “Shared Ownership continues to go from strength to strength, and we're pleased to be widening access to the property ladder through this 10 per cent share offering.

“Worcestershire is one of the UK's most desirable locations, and with house prices higher than the national average, it's much harder for younger people to stay near family while realising that homeownership dream.

“The Bow Brook demonstrates that premium, quality housing in a great location can be affordable, and doesn't require the patience to secure a large deposit.”

Pershore is a charming market town on the banks of the River Avon, renowned for its historic architecture and strong sense of community.

The town is home to a number of high-quality schools for all ages, large supermarkets, green spaces and outdoor pursuits – making it well-suited to families, young professionals and downsizers alike. Pershore is also home to independent and chain restaurants, pubs and stores.

Bromford is part of the National Shared Ownership campaign supported by the National Housing Federation. The campaign aims to raise awareness of Shared Ownership and is supported by almost 50 organisations. For more information, please visit The National Housing Federation.
