The London Home Show Continues to Attract Aspiring Buyers Despite Market Uncertainty

Share to Buy Live

With the housing market in a challenging period – with fewer homes available and buyers being more considered in their decisions – this year's event highlighted just how vital accessible, trusted advice is for today's buyers. The demand for affordable homeownership remains strong, with thousands of conversations taking place and buyers leaving the event better informed, more empowered and ready to take their next step.

The London Home Show welcomed 40 exhibitors, including show sponsors Abri Homes, Aster Sales, Barratt London, Hyde New Homes, L&Q, Legal & General Affordable Homes, NHG Homes, Peabody New Homes, Places for People, Regenta, SO Resi, Southern Housing New Homes, Sovereign Network Group, and Square Roots. Mortgage broker and savings platform Tembo also returned as a sponsor.

Attendees explored hundreds of developments across London and the Home Counties, while a full programme of live sessions ran throughout the day across Homeownership, Financial and Legal themes, including sessions hosted by Tembo, Censeo Financial and Mortgage Advice Bureau.

Nick Lieb, Chief Operations Officer at Share to Buy, comments: “Against the backdrop of a shifting housing market, thousands of hopeful buyers turned out to the London Home Show, ensuring it was still a very busy day filled with valuable conversations. Feedback from exhibitors and our live sessions showed that buyers are educated about their options and more determined than ever – but they're understandably cautious about buying in the current economy. There's a lot of negative noise out there, and we know it's cutting through. That's why the London Home Show, and wider initiatives like Shared Ownership Week, are vital for raising awareness and supporting demand.”

This event also formed part of Shared Ownership Week – the annual campaign celebrating the benefits of the Government-backed Shared Ownership scheme. Share to Buy is a proud partner of the initiative, and attendees had the opportunity to speak directly with Shared Ownership Week partners and providers throughout the day.

The London Home Show will return to the QEII Centre in spring 2026. Share to Buy Live will also be launching its first-ever regional road show events from early next year, and its second Manchester Home Show in summer 2026.
