Latest Updates on the future Mindalk Primary School

Stockland

We're excited that the finishing touches to construction is underway by the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), on the future Mindalk Primary School in Truganina and within the Mt. Atkinson community!

Mindalk Primary School was chosen as this new school's name following community and Traditional Owner group consultation. Mindalk (pronounced MIN-dulk) is a Bunurong Boonwurrung language word meaning wombat.

The new primary school will open in Term 1, 2026 with places for up to 575 students, including 50 students with disabilities. When complete, the school will include 3 learning neighbourhoods, an administration and library building, outdoor hard courts, a community hub, and sports field.

To keep up to date as construction continues, or to find more information on enrolments, please visit the VSBA website. You can subscribe to receive project updates from the VSBA here.
