The launch of Forge Green's showhomes gave Azaiah the chance to see his design unveiled in person, and to officially cut the ribbon to open the new Moreton and Shelford showhomes. Visitors enjoyed coffee and cakes while touring the development and admiring Azaiah's out-of-this-world creation.

Six-year-old Azaiah Falconer impressed judges with his winning entry for the housebuilder's Design a Dream Bedroom competition, which invited children aged 13 and under to submit ideas for their perfect bedroom. The competition aimed to inspire young people to explore their creativity and think about how imaginative design can make a house feel like a home.

Azaiah's space-themed design stood out for its vibrant detail and sense of fun, featuring a moon mural, a rocket-ship lava lamp, and planets hanging from the ceiling.

Working from Azaiah's drawing, interior specialists Show Business Interiors made his dream a reality. The finished room includes space-themed wallpaper, a planet-shaped light with a tiny astronaut, a soft beanbag, a star-shaped stool, astronaut cushions, and stars scattered across the ceiling to create an immersive, other-worldly atmosphere.

We wanted the finished room to feel completely immersive, like stepping into another universe. Every detail was chosen to capture his creativity and sense of fun.

“We used his idea of hanging planet decorations to choose a space-themed wallpaper that looks like the stars and planets are floating around the room. His idea of a rocket-shaped lava lamp inspired us so much that we decided to go all out with a rocket-shaped headboard for the bed! It's been a pleasure to help make his ideas a reality.”
