Connect It Utility Services has strengthened its regional presence with the appointment of Roger Markham as Business Development Manager for the South West, a newly created role that marks the company's continued expansion into one of the UK's key growth regions.

Roger joins the business with over 20 years' experience in the built environment, having worked extensively with local authorities, main contractors and numerous major housebuilders. His background includes senior commercial positions with well-known industry names such as Marshalls, Heras, and Broxap, delivering market-leading products and solutions widely used across public realm and commercial construction sectors.

Based in Bristol, Roger brings deep market knowledge of the South West region, strong relationships with developers and contractors, and a proven track record in driving regional growth.

His appointment supports Connect It's strategy to accelerate expansion westwards, building on strong performance in the central southern region and formally establishing a consistent, on-the-ground presence in the South West for the first time.

As part of his remit, Roger will focus primarily on housebuilders, with additional responsibility for select commercial opportunities, aligning with the business's wider aim of broadening its customer base ahead of an anticipated sector-wide uplift in housing delivery.
