Lovell Homes Strengthens Support for Armed Forces Personnel and Key Workers at Ludgershall Development

Lovell Homes

Leading developer Lovell Homes is continuing to support Armed Forces personnel and key workers by highlighting a range of tailored homebuying schemes available at its Drummond Park development in Ludgershall.

Situated off Freeman Drive on the former Defence Medical Equipment Depot, Drummond Park is a growing community with strong and longstanding links to the military. The development offers a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes, alongside a number of schemes designed to make homeownership more accessible for those who serve their communities.

At Drummond Park, eligible Armed Forces personnel can benefit from Lovell Homes' Armed Forces Discount, which provides a saving of £500 for every £25,000 spent on a new Lovell home*. The scheme is available to serving members of the Army, Royal Navy, RAF and Ministry of Defence.

Military buyers may also be able to access the Government-backed Forces Help to Buy scheme, which enables eligible personnel to borrow up to 50 per cent of their annual salary, up to a maximum of £25,000, to support a home purchase. The funding can be used towards a deposit or associated moving costs, such as legal fees*.

In addition, key workers, including those working in the NHS, education, emergency services and local authorities, may be eligible for Lovell Homes' Key Worker discount. This scheme also offers a discount £500 for every £25,000 spent on a new Lovell home, providing further support for buyers looking to move onto or up the property ladder.

Suzie Hewitt, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “Drummond Park has a proud connection to the Armed Forces, and supporting military personnel and key workers at this development feels especially important given the site's history. These roles are vital to the fabric of our communities, and our schemes are designed to recognise that commitment by helping make homeownership more achievable.

“We would encourage anyone working in the Armed Forces or public sector who is considering a move in the area to speak with our sales team and explore the options available.”

Drummond Park is being delivered by Lovell Homes in partnership with Homes England and will provide a total of 412 homes. The development will include 309 open market Lovell homes, alongside 103 affordable homes – 40 per cent shared ownership and 60 per cent affordable rent – delivered for leading housing provider Stonewater.

Ludgershall offers a well-connected location with Andover just five miles away, providing access to a range of shops, schools and transport links, as well as convenient connections to Salisbury, Winchester and Swindon.

Drummond Park is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm.
