Cambridgeshire Developer Builds Brighter Future With Over £870,000 Community Investment

Barratt and David Wilson Homes

Barratt and David Wilson Homes is investing more than £870,000 in the Cambridgeshire town of Chatteris and its surrounding areas through its new developments.

The recently launched Barratt Homes at Chatteris Gate and David Wilson Homes at Chatteris Gate developments will deliver a range of three, four and five bedroom homes, thoughtfully designed to suit a variety of property seekers.

The funding, which totals £871,097, forms part of the planning agreement for the new developments and will be used to support leisure, transport and schools in the local area.

Simon Francis, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Northampton, said: “Our goal is to leave a lasting, positive impact in every area we build. By supporting the local community, we're helping to create a place people are proud to call home.

“This investment reflects our dedication to creating sustainable developments that contribute positively to the local area. We're excited to see how this funding will support the community for years to come.”

Chatteris Gate offers peaceful surroundings in the countryside with plenty of parks and nature reserves a short distance away. Residents can also enjoy a range of amenities in the historic town centre such as independent restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets including an Aldi.

Commuters will benefit from direct trains from March railway station and the development is also ideally located with a selection of schools on the doorstep.
