Developer Make Egg-Stra Special Donation to Cambridgeshire Care Home

Barratt and David Wilson Homes

Peterborough-based Waterhouse Manor Care Home has received welcome support from a neighbouring housebuilder for its Easter raffle.

David Wilson Homes, which are building nearby at Hampton Beach, donated an Easter hamper to spread some cheer to the lucky winner, and to say thank you for the vital work the care home does caring for its residents.

The hamper prize donated by the leading homebuilder included a selection of sweet and savoury treats.

Milly Bunning, Client Liaison Manager at Waterhouse Manor Care Home, said: “It is great to have collaborated again with David Wilson Homes. We really appreciate the donations for our community events, it shows true partnership and working together for the local community. I look forward to continuing to collaborate and it is a privilege to have worked with David Wilson Homes since our opening in 2024.”

This donation is another part of David Wilson Homes' continued outreach into the communities in Peterborough, having previously made a care package donation of treats and essentials to welcome new residents to the care home when it first opened its doors in 2024. Last Easter, the housebuilder also delivered over 40 chocolate eggs to the care home for every member of staff.

Jason Hearn, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “As a leading housebuilder, it's important to us to support the communities in the areas that we build new homes. We hope this donation will provide enjoyment for the raffle winner and we are pleased to have helped raised the spirits of everyone who took part.
