Stewart Milne Homes Sees Property Success In Portlethen

Stewart Milne Homes

Scottish housebuilder Stewart Milne Homes has seen encouraging sales at its development in Portlethen, with 70% of the properties already snapped up. Launching the three new show homes only a week ago, the developer has now sold 140 of the 200 first-phase units at Leathan Fields.

Commenting on the recent sales success, managing director of Stewart Milne Homes North Scotland, John Low said:

“This popularity is a real testament to the reputation of Stewart Milne Homes and is a very encouraging start to our Portlethen development.

“Thanks to the region's thriving oil industry, Aberdeenshire is enjoying a buoyant economy and, as a result, the property market is encouragingly active. However, we understand that buyers in the current market may be faced with uncertainties, and have introduced a number of initiatives across our developments to help restore confidence in purchasing a new property. Our exclusive incentives such as the Home Value Guarantee and Assured Sale offer some extra security, and aim to provide peace of mind to our homebuyers.

“Sales at Leathan Fields demonstrate the continued demand for property across the region, and show quality and style remain high priorities for buyers.” The Portlethen development was launched in February this year, with the three show homes at Leathan Fields opening last Thursday (25 September). Sitting side by side, each property's unique interior design provides its own example of the lifestyle on offer; illustrating how buyers – whatever their needs - can achieve the individual home of their dreams.

At the top end of the market, the four-bed detached Fenwick villa showcases a finer side of life. Displaying the specially commissioned work of well-known local artist Iain Carby, the aesthetically styled showhome titled “Art in the Home” demonstrates how art is an essential element of interior design. In contrast, the Kelso showhome is ideal for young couples and dubbed “The Hi-Tech Playground”. The three bedroom property offers the latest in contemporary furnishings and is fitted with the most sought after state-of-the-art technology from industry giants Microsoft and Dell. Finally, the Whitekirk style of home presents the ultimate “Safer Living” environment for young families. In conjunction with Aberdeenshire Community Safety Partnership, the four bedroom showhome is fitted with a wide range of added safety and security features, all of which can be purchased and fitted as part of the Stewart Milne Homes package.

The first phase at Leathan Fields comprises three individual sites: Leathan Mews; Leathan Grange; and Leathan Grove. Situated just seven miles south of Aberdeen, in Portlethen, they represent a major long term development for Stewart Milne Homes. Once complete, the development will offer a total of 840 homes in a variety of styles, ranging from 3 bed semi-detached and detached villas to four bed villas with garages and prices from £205,495 - £385,495.

The new showhomes and marketing suite are open 7 days, 11am-5.30pm. For further details, contact the sales office on 01224 781323 or visit stewartmilne.com/homes
