BARRATT'S Southern Counties division has acquired planning permission for the construction of 118 apartments and a primary care trust building, just under a mile from Whyteleafe in Surrey.

Following the demolition of an existing warehouse, the residential element of the development will comprise 46 one-bedroom apartments, and 72 two-bedroom apartments; 16 of which will be designated as affordable homes. The primary care trust facility will also contain a doctors' surgery.
