Cambridgeshire housebuilder Barratt Homes has gone the extra mile to ensure a wonderful Christmas for its last residents in Godmanchester to move in before 2021.

When Alexandre and Jessica Fusco mentioned that moving into their new home on the 23rd of December might take the festivities out of Christmas, the developer went out of its ways ensure a wintery abode welcomed the couple on arrival.

Will Phair, Head of Sales at Barratt Homes Cambridgeshire, said: “Our sales team does everything they can to ensure that our customers can move-in as quickly and easily as possible. When we heard about the concerns of our customers around getting the decorations up, we knew there was something we could do!  

“We made sure to get a Christmas tree and decorate it ready for Alexandre and Jessica to receive the keys. As some of the last residents to move in before Christmas, we felt this was a brilliant way to settle them into their new home so they can enjoy the festivities immediately.”  

Manufacturing Manager, Alexandre and Biomedical Scientist, Jessica were thrilled to receive the keys to their new home, complete with Christmas decorations.

Alexadre Fusco, said: “It was such a beautiful surprise! We really didn't know they were going to do that at all. Maria and Justine have been so helpful the whole way through and made it quick and easy for us to move in. I think because we mentioned to Maria that we weren't going to have enough time to set up a Christmas tree, they must have gone the extra mile to sort it out before we got our keys.” 

Romans' Edge is located on Gumcester Way in Godmanchester and has a range of three, four and five bedroom homes available. This rural development, is gaining increased attention as homebuying trends move towards country locations going into 2021.
