Strathclyde Homes has one of its new buyers seeing red since their move into The Link at Clydebank.
“Definitely in a good way,” happy buyer Gary Kennedy is keen to stress, as he stands in his amazing bespoke kitchen with wife Laura. “This kitchen has become the talk of the development, with the various site managers and workmen regularly popping in as it was being installed to check on progress as it was so unusual they wanted to make sure it was spot on.”
And spot on it is as the delighted couple moved in several weeks ago and are still admiring it!
Local to the area, the Kennedy's literally watched the house being built and have a file on the computer of the build in progress from digital shots taken from their previous flat.
“We really like the area and from the initial planning application we were very excited with the new development Strathclyde Homes had proposed,” explains Gary. “The artist's impressions were exactly what we were looking for, a family home.
“It has always been really encouraging that the artist's impressions were exactly how the development has turned out to be so we didn't have any nasty surprises.”
In fact so keen were the Kennedy's on this particular house that they got their in-laws to queue up when the property was released to ensure they didn't miss out.
“We felt quite cheeky as we were holidaying in Aruba in the Caribbean at the time, but the in-laws didn't mind, in fact they were so impressed they bought a plot around the corner and moved in before Christmas.”
“We had a tricky day when the sale of our original property fell through last minute but the sales adviser, Ann-Marie and the Strathclyde Homes sales team couldn't have been more helpful and got straight into action and made a potential deal breaker into a minor problem. If it hadn't been for them, I don't think we would have been able to move and would still have the property on the market now,” said Gary.
The Link comprises a mixture of two bedroom flats, three bedroom semi detached and terraced houses and four bedroom town houses. Ideal for families, couples and first time buyers, its proximity to Glasgow makes it the perfect development for commuters.
