An exciting new Design Studio showcasing Austral Bricks' latest products will be officially opened on Thursday September 7, at 490 Swan Street, Richmond.
Designed by leading architects BKK and located in the heart of Richmond in Melbourne's new design precinct for upmarket building products, the opening of the 1,000 square metre Design Studio is a great new resource for designers, architects and builders looking for specialised materials.
The studio will showcase Australia's biggest range of bricks, as well as a range of complementary building products covering pavers, stone, roofing materials, masonry, precast concrete and timber, from Australia's leading brands including Austral Bricks®, Daniel Robertson™, Bowral™ and Nubrik®.
Open six days per week, from 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday, and 10am until 4pm on Saturday, with plenty of parking on-site and many public transport options, the studio is a place where all great ideas converge.
The unique studio resource showcases innovative displays, helps ease the selection process, and offers expert advice and product selection on site, within the air conditioned complex. Visitors can browse through the creative and imaginative displays while enjoying a freshly brewed coffee within the studio. Richard West, Austral Bricks Victorian Marketing Manager, said the new Design Studio provided a haven for architects, designers and developers to select the best in bricks and pavers, roof tiles, masonry and timber for their projects.
He said "Architects and designers will be able to see first-hand Bowral™ and Melbourne 50™ series, the Elements® and Ultra Smooth™ ranges as well as the latest colours and styles from Bristile Roofing®, Austral Masonry® and Auswest Timbers™. Colour matching and technical specification assistance is also available.
"We have already had a great response to the studio with clients appreciating the convenience of all the product ranges in the one location and the creative manner in which they have been displayed. Quite a few architects have dropped in and the Auswest Timbers display with its flooring feature has attracted a lot of comment," added Richard.
Rebecca Makdissi, Sales Consultant at the Design Studio encourages architects, designers and builders to bring their clients into the studio so that they can be inspired by the vibrant display in a great environment. She said, "There is a meeting/function room which can be booked for client meetings. There are also aisle bench tops specifically designed to facilitate large project plans being laid out with ease.
"The studio will obviously evolve as new products and trends are launched maintaining the excellence of the presentation. Once you have visited the studio you can enjoy the best coffee in Melbourne at the local cafes" Rebecca added.
