Leading developer Banner Homes has launched an app to demonstrate the level of attention to detail that goes into its homes. The innovative app, called the Banner Homes MyPad, explains some of the unique features within its homes that are not visible at first glance.
Piers Banfield, Group Sales and Marketing Director of Banner Homes comments; "Banner Homes is synonymous with high quality homes where attention to detail and high specification are paramount. However some of the features we include in our homes to make them more comfortable and unique are often hidden from the naked eye, so we invented MyPad to help demonstrate these more effectively to our potential customers.
"In addition to speaking with our sales advisors, we envisage this tool will give our customers an opportunity for a different type of experience in our show home and allow them to discover some interesting features of the home for themselves, clearly visually displayed."

The Banner Homes MyPad app runs on a wall mounted iPad that can be found in a selection of Banner show homes. It allows customers to navigate through some of the concealed features in the homes that make them so desirable, such as soundproofed solid floors, individual room temperature controls and smart home control. Each feature's details are revealed once a customer has interacted with MyPad to demonstrate how it works. MyPad will also allow users access to the digital brochure and video of that development as well as the Banner Homes' website, and is available in the App Store to download."
Version one of MyPad includes features such as: suited keys, where all the locks in the home are suited to enable one master key to open all external doors, meaning less complication and added security in the home; motion sensitive, silent and subtle downlighting to en-suites, ensuring nobody is disturbed unnecessarily, day or night; soundproofed solid floors to create effective sound insulation between floors; smart home control wiring built into the fabric of the home, allowing you to manage many aspects of your entertainment and comfort throughout your home from the touch of a screen.
The Banner Homes MyPad is currently in use at the following developments: Kinsbrook in Brooks Green, West Sussex, Brackenwood in Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey, Flint Hall Farm in Newbold Pacey, Warwickshire, Fairlawns in Lower Penn, Staffordshire and Woodland Way in Kingswood, Surrey.
