The Stayz Group is today hosting Australia's first-ever conference dedicated to the thriving industry of holiday rentals. The Stayz Holiday Rentals Summit is an opportunity to bring the industry together - holiday property owners, agent managers and industry commentators - to share experience, knowledge and expectations for the future of the holiday rental sector.

A range of industry leaders will present their insights on the holiday rental category and broader tourism market to 250 owners and agents from all over Australia and those considering investing in holiday rentals. Speakers include: Nic Cola, CEO Fairfax Media Marketplaces; Nell Anderson, General Manager, Strategy, Tourism Australia; and Kirsty Shaw, GM Travel Fairfax Media Marketplaces.

Master of Ceremonies, Aussie personality and travel expert Lochie Daddo, will run the day's packed agenda at Doltone House in Darling Island Wharf. Topics being covered will include travel trends, pricing, industry regulation, product developments, social media use and the financial implications of operating holiday rentals.

The Stayz Holiday Rentals Summit will be the first major event delivered by The Stayz Group, which was formed following Fairfax Media's acquisition of TakeABreak and rentahome in May 2011.
