David Wilson East Midlands Gets Maximum 5 Star Rating From Buyers

David Wilson Homes - West Midlands

A LOCAL firm has been officially confirmed as one of the highest quality housebuilders anywhere in the country after scoring the best possible result in this year's Home Builders Federation (HBF) customer satisfaction survey.

Bardon-based David Wilson East Midlands is rated as a 5 star builder in the annual HBF survey, in which more than 16,000 new homebuyers across the country took part.

Asked if they were satisfied with the quality of their new home, and whether they would recommend their builder to a friend, more than 90 per cent of the division's customers answered yes.

Philip Lacey, Sales Director at David Wilson East Midlands, said: “We're delighted that the people who buy and live in our homes have awarded us the highest possible rating. We believe this reflects the quality of our new homes and the outstanding customer service we provide.”

“Because we are confident that the homes we build are of the highest standard, last year we became the first housebuilder to introduce a free five-year warranty on fixtures and fittings to give added peace of mind to our customers. This is in addition to the ten-year NHBC warranty on the structure of the building.”

The poll, in which buyers were sent a questionnaire around eight weeks after moving in, covered the 12 months until September 2009.

“It's not just the quality that's improving, we're also making it much easier for our customers to buy a new home,” added Philip.

“If you're a First Time Buyer you could move in for just 70 per cent of the price and pay the rest later under the HomeBuy Direct scheme, which we operate in conjunction with the Government's Homes and Communities Agency. Homeowners wanting a larger property could take advantage of our part-exchange service.”

“I would urge anyone who is looking to buy a new home of the highest quality to call us to find out more about how we can help them.”
