Bardon-based housebuilder David Wilson Homes East Midlands has recruited four new sales advisers to support an increase in enquiries for its developments across the region.
The news comes after the company recently announced that an expected 1,500 jobs would be created thanks to the launch of several new developments in Leicestershire.
John Reddington, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands said, "We've recently announced a number of new sites across the county and in response to their demand, last month opened the New Homes Centre in Ashby de la Zouch to help with the increase in enquiries.
"Our new sales advisers have been placed at new and existing developments across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and are welcome additions to our already strong sales force. They will be a great asset to us as we begin to open our new sales centres over the coming months."
The four new sales advisers are Bridgett Barnes who is working at Newton Park close to Bingham, Jade Bale is based Castle Heights in Church Gresley, Stephanie Morgan is working at Kings Meadow in Sutton-in-Ashfield and Nova Eames who is based at the company's new flagship development in Quorn.
Bridget Barnes, aged 49 has worked in sales for most of her working life. She said, "I actually live in a David Wilson home myself, so it's great to talk about a product that I have so much faith in. I've become quite attached to the development and I have already made my first sale completely on my own."
Jade Bale aged 20 said, "A lot of my family members work in the housebuilding industry so I've always had an interest in this kind of career path. My parents and I actually lived in a David Wilson home too, so I think I have a deeper understanding of the product that I work with."
Stephanie Morgan aged 24 said, "I used to work as a beauty therapist and I've found that the people skills I gained in my previous role were very easy to transfer. David Wilson Homes is a great company to work for - we've been given excellent training, which in turn has given me a lot of confidence. They're a big company and; I know that there are more career prospects available when the time comes to progress."
Nova Eames who is originally from Leicester said, "I've worked in housebuilding for many years so I've enjoyed being able to get stuck in straight away and I'm really enjoying my time here."
John Reddington continued, "Our four new sales advisers have all brought their own skills and knowledge to the table and we're very pleased to have them all on board."
The company's new sites in Leicestershire include David Wilson Homes at Quorn, Bentley Meadows and De Lacy Court in Castle Donington, Ivanhoe Fields and Hastings Park both in Ashby de la Zouch, Britannia Park in Burbage and The Greens in Hinckley.
