Bardon-based housebuilder David Wilson Homes East Midlands has recruited four new sales advisers and a part exchange and sales progression administrator to support a rise in enquires across its new developments.

The news comes after the company recently announced that an expected 376 jobs would be created over the next few years thanks to the launch of several new developments in Leicestershire.

John Reddington, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said, "Our new sales advisers will be based at developments across the county, learning from our existing sales force and bringing their previous knowledge and experience to help to drive further growth for the company.

"Furthermore, our new part exchange and sales progression administrator will be supporting the division with the increased volumes of part exchange applications we are currently receiving.

The new starters are:

  • Catherine Davies who is based at The Chestnuts development in Syston
  • Gavin Buck who is based at Castle Heights in Church Gresley
  • Emily Johnson who is based at Kibworth Meadows in Kibworth
  • Michelle Stokes who is based at the Hastings Park development in Ashby-de-la-Zouch
  • Jane Pyecroft joins the team at head office working as a part exchange and sales progression administrator

Catherine Davies, aged 45, successfully gained employment at David Wilson North Midlands where she worked for two years as a sales adviser and has recently made the move to David Wilson East Midlands.

Catherine said, "I have strong family ties with the company, my brother is a contracts manager and my step-mother works as a sales adviser. I have also lived in two David Wilson Homes and have over 15 years' experience working within the industry, which I think gives me a greater understanding of the company - I think the quality that David Wilson provides really sets them apart from other homebuilders."

Gavin Buck, aged 35, said, "I used to work as a lettings agent and also have ten years previous experience working within the homebuilding industry. Emily Johnson, aged 26, said, "It's great to have secured this position at a company of David Wilson Homes' stature. The company offers great opportunities to progress, which is really important."

Michelle Stokes, aged 43, said, "It's really exciting to be working on a brand new site, which has been busy since we opened in January. We get a wide range of customers through the door each day and I'm really enjoying helping customers to secure their new home."
