Admiralty Tower, Portsmouth's most significant landmark building since The Spinnaker is throwing open the doors of an entire floor of show apartments to mark its official launch on May 24.

The striking 22 storey tower on Portsmouth's waterfront is the signature architecture in the hugely successful Admiralty Quarter scheme by award-winning developer Crest Nicholson.

All four luxury apartments on the 13th floor have been dressed by leading interior design company Alexander James Interiors. This award-winning team has created a series of distinctive looks in each apartment and offers potential buyers the chance to experience first hand, the stylish lifestyle available at the scheme. The innovative marketing decision to commit an entire floor to a suite of show homes was inspired by the building's design and location that made it impossible to choose it's 'best side'

“We realised very early on that the more usual approach of presenting a single show apartment simply wasn't going to do justice to a building as special as this one” she added.

The curved floor-to-ceiling glass walls and tapered balconies afford stunning views down the coast, stretching across as far as the Isle of Wight, as well as over the city, and include a bird's eye view of the vibrant Gunwharf Quays and Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard below.

Helen continued: “The designers loved this brief because they were able to work on a high quality blank canvas inside an apartment set against a backdrop of an ever-changing tapestry provided by the magnificent sea and city views.

“We're incredibly proud of Admiralty Tower. It carries through the same quality and attention to detail that we put into all our buildings, but it's clearly an extra special place because of its design and setting.

The first 20 floors of Admiralty Tower each accommodate two, two-bedroom and two, one-bedroom apartments with high specification fitted kitchens featuring integrated dishwashers, fridge/freezers and washing machines, and Bosch brushed steel appliances.

Bathrooms and ensuite facilities are fitted with Majestic showers, steel baths, glass screens, Roca sanitaryware and Porcelanosa tiles and all with mirrors and glass shelving.

The top two floors are devoted to luxury penthouses, which are expected to attract widespread interest following the success of the larger duplex apartments in earlier phases of the Admiralty Quarter scheme. Prices at Admiralty Tower start at £167,500 for a one bedroom apartment.

The show apartment suite on the 13th floor, Admiralty Tower opens on May 24. Opening hours are 7 days a week, 10am – 5pm.
