South Ruislip has been named one of the hottest London locations by online agents Emoov, who credited the Zone 5 hotspot with a particularly buoyant property market. Its recent research found that out of 280 tube stations on the network, South Ruislip was the most in demand, with 75% of properties selling within three months of marketing. Home buyers looking for a fast commute into the capital and sound investment potential should look to Bellway Homes North London Avedis development in the Hillingdon borough.

The area is set to see even faster train networks with the introduction of High Speed 2 (HS2) to run through South Ruislip by 2026, linking London to the West Midlands. The estate agent's research pointed to the “forthcoming arrival of the Elizabeth Line and improvements in rail links that were having a notable impact in the areas set to benefit."

Kevin Bowles, Bellway North London Sales Manager, comments: “Commuters working in London are looking at their options and are opting to move further afield to get the best possible home for their money. In South Ruislip, sold property prices have risen by 14% this year compared with last year, according to Right Move, so the area really does offer home buyers a new opportunity to invest in this thriving suburb. Our new development, Avedis, offers modern homes within a convenient proximity of central London, plus all the essential amenities residents need on their doorstep.

“The new phase of apartments at Avedis have already proved popular with buyers, so we urge those looking for a new home in the area to come and see for themselves what the development has to offer.”

There is currently one, one-bedroom apartment and five two-bedroom apartments available for sale at the former Arla Dairy site that will see a comprehensive regeneration scheme to the area, introducing a mix of homes; a state of the art, eleven screen Cineworld multiplex; an ASDA supermarket, and five family-themed restaurants.

A further selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments will be released later this year, ideal for professionals, first-time buyers, downsizers and investors alike. The apartments offer high quality specification throughout, with open-plan living spaces, integrated appliances in the kitchens, contemporary sanitaryware in the bathrooms, fitted wardrobes to master bedrooms, flooring and allocated parking. The majority of the properties will also benefit from an outdoor space in the form of a balcony or terrace.

The development is located just a few minutes' walk from South Ruislip tube and rail station.  From here, residents can currently benefit from the London Underground service on the Central line into the City, in less than 40 minutes. Chiltern Railway services also connect with Wembley Stadium and London Marylebone. If travelling by car, major roads nearby include the A40 for Hammersmith, central London and the City, the M25, and the M40 for Oxford and Birmingham.

Guide prices for a one-bedroom start from £319,995, while two-bedroom apartment currently start from £399,995. Help to Buy London is available on selected apartments. For further information on Avedis at The Old Dairy, call 0333 202 5170 or visit www.bellway.co.uk
