ANYONE who is dreaming of moving to a new home but are not sure if they can afford to do so, is being invited to a special home-exchange event at Barratt West Midlands' Fox Walk development on Foxoak Street in Cradley Heath.
This weekend, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October, Barratt is holding a home exchange weekend, dedicated to those dreaming of moving home but who are struggling to find a buyer for their existing property.
The special event will take place between 10am and 5pm over the weekend, where interested buyers will have the chance to speak to Barratt's experienced sales advisers about the many benefits of using its popular Part Exchange and Movemaker schemes.
With Part Exchange, Barratt buys your existing home, leaving you free to buy a new one. On the other hand, purchasers could take advantage of the Movemaker scheme whereby Barratt sells the property for you on the open market.
Both schemes offer a hassle-free way to move home and what's more there are no estate agent fees to pay, saving you thousands.
Michelle Barnsley, Part-Exchange Manager for Barratt West Midlands who will also be available on the day commented, "Whether it is the first or fifth time, moving home can be confusing and time consuming. But with our home-exchange schemes, buyers can sit back and relax whilst we do all the hard work.
"With the schemes we arrange two independent valuations of the existing property then either sell the home on the open market or buy the property. Best of all, we also take care of any fees usually associated with an estate agent, which can all add up.
"This weekend, we are inviting home hunters to come along to our Fox Walk development where not only can they speak to our sales advisers, but a local estate agent will also be on hand to talk about selling their existing home.
"What's more, we are offering a free valuation of the existing property for anyone who books an appointment over the weekend.
"This is an unmissable opportunity to save thousands of pounds whilst moving to a brand new Barratt home, so I am urging anyone thinking of buying to come along this weekend to find out more."
Barratt is now also offering an extended five-year warranty on fixtures and fittings. The items which Barratt will cover at no extra cost to the buyer will include appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators, kitchen units, wardrobes, the central heating system, fires, doors, windows, drainage, the hot and cold plumbing system and even the driveway. The five-year guarantee of fixtures and fittings in place at the time of purchase is in addition to the existing ten-year warranty on the structure of new homes and remains valid even if the home is sold on to a new owner. The exclusive offer, which is not available from any other housebuilder, marks the culmination of an intensive programme in which the company has focused on raising further the industry-leading quality of its homes.
