Whilst most people in their 20's are desperately trying to get onto the property ladder and some may never even know what it's like to own their own home, Carly Crutchfield has been involved in over 300 million dollars worth of property deals and development....and she's only 29 years old.
After dropping out of high school, Carly was an early starter in the workforce, but soon became fed up with living the 9-5 routine. The discovery of a book she found at her father's house inspired Carly to jump into the world of property, where she became involved in the investment market and set the path for her becoming a self-made millionaire. Property development is where Carly found her niche and in her early twenties she apprenticed under a developer before going out on her own. Four years ago this dynamic young woman started her own property development company Ccorp, which is now one of Australia's largest and fastest growing property providers, developing over 700 properties and with over 35 staff.
Not only does Carly develop her own small to medium sized residential projects, but she also shares her secrets of successful development through her Ccorp seminar's, attended by more than 25,000 people a year. Carly is one of Australia's most sought after property development educators with her high energy, charismatic and passionate seminar's that literally transform people's lives.
But life isn't all about business for this gutsy young lady, in her own words she gets upset with the state of the world. “I can't watch the news without thinking I have to get over there and help,” she said. And that is exactly what she does. Carly has gone to help in disaster zones around the world that the rest of us just watched on our TV sets – Bande Aceh in Indonesia following the Boxing Day Tsunami, China following the 2008 earthquake, QLD during Cyclone Larry and the Philippines following a typhoon are just a few of the places Carly has visited to help.
“I do what I can, whether it be collecting and searching for dead bodies, helping issue medical supplies, food and water or counselling people” If that wasn't enough Carly has founded a non-profit group CFoundation which empowers lives and creates change. She spends much of her time running the foundation and their projects which include youth-ed programs, building a community centre in Alice Spring and drug education. Her generosity also extends to her personally donating a large sum of money every year to charitable projects and organizations.
So where does this inspirational woman go from here, “I'm continuing to grow Ccorp to be the largest and most diverse property development company in Australia. I've got an assortment of projects in the pipeline, so the next few years are going to be exciting and challenging and we just want to keep giving more! ” Carly said.
To call her an over achiever, would be an understatement, superwoman would be more suitable.
But Carly doesn't take all the credit for her accomplishments, “Like every business owner, I have an amazing team. I can do what I do because of the people around me,” she said.
