In one of north London's most promising residential hotspots, West Hampstead, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward has expanded its residential property service and has just launched a lettings department.
Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward has been established in West Hampstead for over ten years and the lettings department now provides a link with the network of other branches in the area including Belsize Park and St John's Wood.
“West Hampstead is firmly on the way to becoming the new Notting Hill and it is no surprise that buy-to-let investors have been flocking to the area, recognising the favourable returns to be made,” comments Matthew Wender, Sales Manager of Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward's West Hampstead branch who has been working in the area for several years.
Lauren Rapacioli an expert in the lettings industry has been with the company for several years and has been appointed as Lettings Manager of the newly launched department. She explains: “As a result of the rising property values and with the advent of cafes, bars, delis and restaurants opening here there has been an increase in demand for quality properties in West Hampstead. Recognising this, we have expanded to offer a dedicated lettings and property management service.
“Tenants are able to get a larger sized property here than in the neighbouring areas of Hampstead village, St John's Wood and Belsize Park. For example one bedroom flats are priced from £200 per week and two bedroom flats are from £280 per week. From this location in West Hampstead, we are also covering the lettings market in Brondesbury, Brondesbury Park and South Hampstead.”
Located between exclusive Hampstead, NW3, and diverse Kilburn, NW6, West Hampstead is becoming increasingly popular, particularly the roads around the cosmopolitan West End Lane which runs through the heart of the area. Furthermore, the excellent road and rail transport links for the north circular, Jubilee line, Thameslink and Silverlink trains, serves commuters working across the capital, adding to its desirability.
