Award winning property developer, Urban Splash, has announced prices for its Longlands development in Stalybridge, Tameside will go live on its new website www.LonglandsStalybridge.co.uk on Friday 4th May. Prices will start from £99,500
Longlands offers purchasers the choice of living in The Mill, a 200 year old Grade II Listed former cotton mill or Pattern House, the contemporary new build designed by exciting young architects, Space Craft. It's this mix of old versus new that makes Longlands so appealing and is one of reasons for the high level of interest being shown in both buildings.
Interest in Longlands has been overwhelming, especially since the new website has been live and in anticipation of next weekend's sales launch. In the last two weeks alone, Urban Splash has received over 200 enquiries, with more than half of them being from people based in Stalybridge and the Tameside area. The total number of people now registered is up to 1200.
Urban Splash will have its on site sales suite open from 11am on Wednesday 9th May. Nicola Wallis, associate director of sales, Urban Splash said: “With so much local interest, we want to make sure purchasers get the chance to come and have a look around, talk through the plans and the model with us and decide which apartments suit them best.”
Nicola added: “We've experienced sell outs at our last few launches and we know that with opening the sales suite a few days prior to the launch on Saturday, it allows purchasers that extra bit of time to consider their options.”
Longlands is the first Urban Splash scheme in Stalybridge and only its second ever scheme to be based outside a city centre. Nicola Wallis said: “Longlands is a place where the best of all worlds meet and mingle. It's a stunning development which is surrounded by water; it lies at the foot of the Pennines and sits right at the heart of Stalybridge town centre. All that and you still have the big lights of Manchester city centre just a 12 minute train journey away.”
The apartments also benefit from fantastic communal gardens which roll down to the banks of the river Tame.
The new Longlands website details the two developments as well as showing all that's great about living in Stalybridge. Users can view images of the first phase of development which goes on sale next Saturday.
The website also highlights the benefits of living in a location that boasts some of the UK's most stunning walks. Using specially commissioned photography from McCoy Wynne Associates, the website features beautiful shots of the surrounding hills and landscapes captured during all four seasons.
Simon Humphreys, associate director of development, Urban Splash said: “Stalybridge is a beautiful town and from Longlands you can see the hills roll into the distance. The landscape was so picturesque that we just had to capture it for the website and brochure.”
The website also allows users to download three well known walking routes to their ipods and MP3 players which can then be used to explore the local countryside! Simon added, “People always research an area before they buy a house so what better way than to download a country walk to your ipod, take a stroll over the hills and see what lies on your doorstep.”
The landscape photography is being shown as part of an exhibition taking place at The Mill. McCoy Wynne will be displaying their work from 11am to 5pm every day from Wednesday 9th May through to Friday 11 May. Everyone is welcome to come and take a look at their work; many items will be available to buy.
With prices for apartments starting at £99,950, Urban Splash is expecting another busy launch day. For more information including the new Longlands brochure, please contact one of the sales team on 07000 37 37 37 or visit www.LonglandsStalybridge.co.uk.
