The community summer celebration for new and existing residents at Royal Albert Wharf in London's Royal Docks, is organised by Notting Hill Sales in conjunction with the Bow Arts Trust to celebrate the London Festival of Architecture.

With a live jazz band, face painting, art and photography exhibitions, plus an array of food from around the world, new and existing residents at Royal Albert Wharf in London's Royal Docks, were given a day to remember at a community Summer Celebration.

The event, held on Saturday 24th June, was organised by Notting Hill Sales in conjunction with the Bow Arts Trust, to celebrate the London Festival of Architecture (LFA). A month-long celebration, the LFA celebrates the ever-changing London skyline, heralding the best in architectural design across the city, with a raft of events, tours and exhibitions. In 2017, the LFA focused on people's memories of the capital; Royal Albert Wharf has an interesting history as a point of global connection, and is now a place for new residents and businesses to live and work together and create future memories.

The event was the perfect opportunity to bring together current residents and potential purchasers to enjoy the views at Royal Albert Wharf. The occasion was celebrated with a photography exhibition, showcasing the site's colourful past and exciting development into its current form. The Bow Arts Trust held activities including drawings by local artist and Royal Albert Wharf resident Anna Gibb, created especially for the event in response to the history of the site, and a mechanical art exhibition from artist-in-residence Stephen “Fire the Inventor” Guy.
