Jamie Harris and John Cronin as Receivers & Managers of Nolimit Pty Ltd (Receivers and Managers Appointed)(In Liquidation) have instructed CB Richard Ellis to sell the Ferry Road Plaza shopping centre at Southport.
The Formal Offers to Purchase campaign will be coordinated by Mark Witheriff and Lachlan Harris of CB Richard Ellis - Gold Coast.
The neighbourhood shopping centre is situated at 175 Ferry Road, adjacent to the Southport Park Shopping Centre. The property consists of 20 tenancies and has a net lettable area of 2,068 square metres. The site area is 6,887sqm. "We expect strong interest, due to the fact you can add value utilising the existing structure, undertake a refurbishment program or look at a wholesale redevelopment program for a mixed use centre which takes advantage of the two street frontages and high profile location," Mr Harris said.
Mark Witheriff added; "neighbourhood shopping centres have been selling very well, even during the GFC, and we envisage there will be considerable interest in Ferry Road Plaza from private and family superannuation funds".
Formal Offers to Purchase close at noon on Friday May 6, 2011.
