Five star housebuilder Barratt Homes is helping aspiring homebuyers to move house this January by hosting a series of exciting events at its housing developments in Bedfordshire.

Expert advice and information will be given to homebuyers, who want to know more about purchasing a new home in the area. Sales advisers will be on hand to answer any questions, including queries about the government-backed FirstBuy scheme and the Part Exchange service that the developer offers.

The 'Great Barratt Move' events will be held at developments in Bedfordshire, on the 19th and the 20th of January and on the 23rd and the 24th of February 2013, between 11am and 5pm.

Barratt is also offering homebuyers who buy a new home at the FirstBuy events, a £3,000 'starting out' voucher to use to buy furnishings and fixtures for their new house. Furthermore, homebuyers who attend one of the Part Exchange events will receive an exclusive 105% Part Exchange offer.

Buyers can also have added peace of mind with Barratt's extended five year warranty on fixtures and fittings. The items which Barratt will cover at no extra cost to the buyer will include appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators, kitchen units, wardrobes, the central heating system, fires, doors, windows, drainage, the hot and cold plumbing system and even the driveway.

The five year warranty of fixtures and fittings in place at the time of purchase is in addition to the existing ten year warranty on the structure of new homes and remains valid even if the home is sold on to a new owner.
