Sheffield, UK – Knight Frank has successfully let 16,500 sq ft of high specification office space in a landmark Sheffield building.
High profile training provider, Newcastle College, has snapped up the second floor of the tower and part of the second floor rear section of 722, Prince of Wales Road, in a ten-year lease deal after relocating from a smaller site at Victoria Quays.
The 85,000 sq ft building, which has just 21,000 sq ft remaining, is being marketed by agents Knight Frank, Lambert Smith Hampton and Jones Lang LaSalle. It has prompted high demand due to its quality specification and coveted location, just ten minutes from junction 33 of the M1 and Sheffield's Midland Mainline train station and transport interchange.
The letting follows global food and services specialist Sodexho's move into 4,000 sq ft of 722, with 10,000 sq ft of space already taken by Danieli, a leading supplier of plant and equipment to the engineering and steel industries, and a further 35,000 sq ft let to Sheffield Primary Care Trust.

The development, by Seven Two Two Ltd, has created the area's largest office building and has seen the project finished with a contemporary glass exterior, raised access floors, a feature entrance, on-site sports club facility and a dedicated 300 space car park.
