For the last five years, Hampshire's Hart district has topped the charts on Halifax's Quality of Life Index, making it one of the most desirable places to live in the UK, scoring highly on residents' health, life expectancy, employment, low crime rate, personal well-being and even good weather [1]. Families attracted to the plethora of open green spaces, the accessibility of London and the outstanding schooling, are relocating to the small towns and quaint villages located in Hampshire. In the quintessential parish village of Eversley, luxury housing developer Millgate is returning to Hampshire and launching Lockeswood, St Neot's for off plan sales this November.

Lockeswood consists of four exclusive detached homes located in a woodland setting. The exquisite four and five bedroom homes have been carefully designed offering between 2008 and 5240 sq ft of sumptuous living space arranged over two and three floors, with each home also boasting a large garden.

Jonathan Cranley, Sales and Marketing Director at Millgate comments: “The Hart district and its surrounding villages such as Eversley have very high ratings in terms of quality of life. Therefore, it is hardly surprising that families are keen to live in the area. The site is located with acres of land, providing an attractive leafy setting. With construction already underway at Lockeswood, we advise potential purchasers to register their interest as soon as possible.”

Schooling in the area receives top marks with St Neot's Preparatory catering for children between the ages of three months and 13 years and benefits from being located within 70 acres of grounds, of which Lockeswood is situated. Highly rated Yateley Manor School is also less than four miles from the development, offering exceptional education from the age of three to 13. Nearby Wellington College and Lords Wandsworth cater for secondary school students up to the age of 18, also providing boarding if required.

Offering the best of both worlds, Lockeswood provides the pleasures of country living but, in addition, boasts close access to Wokingham only seven miles away. The towns of Reading and Basingstoke are also only 12 miles from the development, providing a range of shopping and entertainment opportunities. For commuters into London, nearby Fleet railway station connects to London Waterloo directly in less than one hour, whilst Crowthorne station reaches Reading in less than 20 minutes.

Guide prices start at £1.2 million. For more information please visit www.millgatehomes.co.uk or contact the selling agent, Waterfords, on 01252 870222 or email yateley@waterfords.co.uk.
