Aldershot's Alexander Park Delights Future-Focused Homebuyers

Bellway

Developer Bellway's recent launch of brand-new homes at Alexander Park in Aldershot has generated a flurry of interest from buyers looking for modern, sustainably crafted homes. Now available to purchase, the homes range from one- and two-bedroom apartments to Bellway Artisan Collection houses, with three to five bedrooms. The Artisan Collection showcases the best in contemporary home design based on input from Bellway's customers, delivering a new generation of properties.

The future-focused properties include a range of eco-conscious features. Air source heat pumps and solar photovoltaic panels help owners to reduce their carbon footprint, as well as save money on energy bills. The Home Builders Federation reports that the average new build homeowner pays 50% less for utilities than those living in older properties, with an average annual saving of £979, while new build homes emit 65% less carbon per year.[1]

Alexander Park's stylish new properties also include electric vehicle charging points, promoting greener travel. The properties' location, just four minutes' drive from Aldershot station, provides direct links to neighbouring towns (such as Farnham, Brookwood, Woking and Guildford) and to central London in just 45 minutes. For those who drive, the M3 and A31 are within easy reach, while every home comes with a garage and/or parking space. International travellers are also well-served, with Heathrow Airport reachable in 40 minutes by car and Gatwick in under an hour.

Access to greenery is a key part of the appeal at Alexander Park. The development features large swathes of open greenspace crisscrossed with paths, as well as tree-lined walkways and a picturesque woodland area. Each property has its own outdoor space, in the form of a balcony, terrace or garden. For greater immersion in nature, Manor Park is a three-minute drive away, offering a playground, skate park, tennis courts and basketball court. Farnham Park, a Grade II listed site boasting 320 acres of parkland, is also just over four miles away.

Situated on the outskirts of Aldershot, Alexander Park provides easy access to the local area's excellent cultural and leisure amenities. Aldershot town centre is just half a mile away, providing a range of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as a weekly market. Also within easy reach are the Prince's Hall Theatre, Alpine Snowsports, Farnham Golf Club and Aldershot Lido, with its outdoor pool, diving platforms and flumes.

Emma Russell, Sales Director at Bellway, comments: “Alexander Park's excellent location means it is ideal for first-time buyers, families and commuters alike. There is so much to do in the local area and Aldershot is a lovely, friendly community. The stylish, future-focused homes make this the perfect spot to put down roots – hence the keen interest from local buyers since we launched the development.”

Families buying at Alexander Park have a fantastic selection of schools nearby. The Cambridge Primary School is an eight-minute walk from the development, while Talavera Junior School and Talavera Infant School are both just a mile away. Secondary school options include The Wavell School, Farnham Heath End School and All Hallows Catholic School, all within a ten-minute drive. For older students, Farnborough College of Technology, The Sixth Form College Farnborough and Farnham College lie within a 15-minute radius, while The University Centre Farnborough and The University of Surrey are reachable in under 20.

Properties at Alexander Park are now selling, priced from £395,000 to £675,000. For more information, visit https://www.bellway.co.uk/new-homes/thames-valley/alexander-park or call 01252 982756.
